A holiday song performed by
Sihasin, a brother and sister duo from the
Navajo Nation, has landed in a national advertising campaign.
The band's punk rock cover of "Winter Wonderland" is featured in
Hyundai's Naughty or Nice ad.
Their version is interspersed with a more traditional version of the song by Tony Bennett.
“Hyundai automobiles contacted Sihasin about using ‘Winter Wonderland’ and we worked hand in hand with Cleopatra Records to make this project happen," siblings Jeneda and Clayson Benally said on Wednesday. "Little did we all know that it would be a collaboration with Tony Bennett!"
"We are excited to further open the doors for Native American artists,” Sihasin said.

Sihasin's cover was originally featured on
Punk Rock Christmas, a 2015 holiday-themed release put together by Cleopatra Records. The song appeared alongside "White Christmas' by punk rock legend Iggy Pop and "Snoopy's Christmas" by Smash Mouth.
In addition to being featured in the car commercial, Jeneda and Clayson, who have performed as
Blackfire with their brother Klee, have been busy in the studio.
Sihasin is due to release
Fight Like A Woman on April 22, 2018.
The band's name comes from the Navajo language concept of thoughtful critique and analysis.
