Authorities investigate remains uncovered on Crow Reservation

Federal authorities are investigating the apparent death of a young citizen of the Crow Tribe of Montana.

According to news reports, remains discovered on the reservation on Tuesday are believed to be those of Michael Plainbull. The father of three, who was 23 years old at the time, went missing in December 2013.

Plain Bull's car was found abandoned on the reservation a week following his disappearance on December 12, 2013. Partial remains were discovered in July 2014, The Billings Gazette reported.

The Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating the latest discovery.
