Three top leaders of the Sac and Fox Nation are once again facing a recall effort, The Topeka Capital-Journal reports. Chairman Edmore Green, Vice Chairman James Jensen and Treasurer Nancy Keller were ousted last August but a tribal judge said the process didn't follow tribal law, the paper reported at the time. So tribal citizen Patricia Gutierrez started over again and has collected enough signatures to force a recall vote. According to The Hiawatha World, the recall petition last year accused the tribal leaders of abuse of power, bullying and other charges. The tribe is based in Kansas and Nebraska.
