Tribal citizens are going to the polls to choose a new slate of leaders. The president, treasurer, clerk and several council seats are up for grabs.

Three candidates are running for president: Todd Gates, J.C. Seneca and Sally Snow. Gates, who represents the Seneca Party, currently serves as treasurer while Seneca leads the One Nation Party on the reservation. Snow is considered an independent.

Two candidates are running for treasurer: Maurice John and Darlene Miller. John, who is on the Seneca Party slate, currently serves as president but can't serve back-to-back terms. Miller is part of the One Nation Party.
