The Department of Education is hosting a group of Native youth in Washington, D.C.

The youth are already in the area for the Pathkeepers for Indigenous Knowledge Native Youth Culture Camp in Virginia. They will be in the nation's capitol on Friday to share their ideas and concerns with officials from the Office of Indian Education and the White House Initiative on American Indian and Alaska Native Education.

The roundtable takes place at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library at the Department of Education headquarters, according to a media advisory.
