The Bureau of Indian Affairs has proclaimed more reservation land for the Bay Mills Indian Community. According to a notice that was published in the Federal Register on Tuesday, another 2 acres was added to the tribe's reservation in Michigan. While that amount was small, it was just the latest in a slew of proclamations issued during the administration of President Barack Obama. In 2012, the BIA proclaimed 190 acres as the tribe's reservation in two different decisions. A year prior, seven proclamations were issued for a total of 990 acres. Prior to that, the tribe had only see one reservation proclamation. That was in 2000, for about 12.5 acres, during the Clinton administration. No decisions were issued at all during the Bush administration, according to a review of the Federal Register. Federal Register Notices:
