Gary Davis of NCAIED joins Small Business Administration council

Gary Davis, the President and CEO of the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development, will advise the Small Business Administration about issues in underserved communities.

As a member of the Council on Underserved Communities, Davis will help the SBA support small businesses in Indian Country and other underserved areas. He will also review existing programs and policies and make recommendations on how they can be improved.

"The National Center has a long history of advocating for businesses, wealth, and sustainable communities throughout Indian Country," Davis said in a press release. "We believe in the Council on Underserved Communities’ mission and are proud to stand with the SBA to improve policies designed to enhance the lives of American Indian and Alaska Native families.”

Davis, a member of the Cherokee Nation, is a successful entrepreneur, musician and actor.
