Was the drowning accidental or murder?

Native Sun News Managing Editor PARMALEE –– On Sunday, Nov. 1, Loren “Low” Two Eagle came into Parmalee from his house in the country three miles north of town to visit family and attend church services with his mother. The following Saturday, Nov. 7, Two Eagle was found dead nearly 1.5 miles east of his home after having been missing for five days; floating in a small dam on Scabby Creek near Parmalee on the Rosebud Sioux Reservation. Loren’s father, Leonard Two Eagle, was told by FBI Agent James Asner that his son had died of drowning, according to the yet-to-be-published autopsy report. But the family feels foul play was involved in his death. In a recent interview with Native Sun News, Loren’s parents, Leonard Two Eagle and Dorothy Little Elk, believe their son was murdered, according to information circulating in their community and alleged physical evidence they have in their possession.
