The Wyandotte Nation of Oklahoma opened a new convenience store and gas station last week. The Turtle Stop II is located in Grove. The 4,248 square-foot facility offers gas, food and other items 24 hours a day. “Anytime when we can do a venture like this, it goes right back into helping other people,” Chief Billy Friend said at the grand opening ceremony, The Grand Lake News reported. "This helps to provide more scholarships, it helps us to provide better health care, it helps to provide senior assistance and elder housing."
