Authorities in Washington are investigating the death of a five-year-old member of the Hoh Tribe. Gary Lee Blanton III died on April 18, according to his obituary. He was in the custody of his aunt, who has not been charged with any crimes. But authorities are concerned that injuries Gary reportedly suffered before his death were not accidental. He had a a skull fracture, a brain injury and bruises all over his body, KREM reported. The Hoh Tribe placed Gary in his aunt's home in Chattaroy after his mother died last July. His father was murdered in 2012 by a man who specifically targeted him, The Altantic reported. "Gary loved going to school at Chattaroy Elementary, participating on the T-ball Team the Lug Nuts, a sport he enjoyed. Gary loved to be outside interacting with his siblings, cousins, friends and his animals," the obituary reads. Get the Story:
