The state of Nevada had removed its youth from a rehabilitation center on the reservation of the Yerington Paiute Tribe.

The Silver State Academy is a privately-operated facility for at-risk male teens. Tribal, local and state authorities have responded to four incidents there in the last four months, including one on Saturday that resulted in some injuries to staff, two fires and significant damage to buildings. Ten teens also left the facility and were located by the next day.

“My agency has no children there effective (Tuesday) or the day before. We removed them after the latest uprising,” Chrystal Main of the Nevada Division of Child & Family Services told the Associated Press. As many as 25 youth were removed, the AP said.

Saturday's incident resulted in a response from more than 40 officers and fire fighters.
