Man from Te-Moak Tribe pleads guilty to voluntary manslaughter

A member of the Te-Moak Tribe of Nevada pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter.

Joshua Dooley, 36, admitted that he shot and killed Jacob Tybo on the South Fork Reservation in December 2013. The two had been drinking alcohol when they began arguing, The Elko Daily Free Press reported.

Dooley is due to be sentenced on May 27, the paper said. He faces 15 years in federal prison.

Tybo was also a member of the Te-Moak Tribe. He was 34 years old at the time of his death.
