The Puyallup Tribe of Washington will open the doors to the Salish Integrative Oncology Care Center on April 13. The tribe acquired the Seattle Cancer Treatment & Wellness Center and moved operations to the Trans-Pacific Trade Center on its reservation. The non-profit clinic will provide a range of treatments options, both conventional and traditional. "It's not to make money, it's to save lives, and that's what we're going to do," Chairman Bill Sterud told KING 5 News. Cancer is the leading cause of death for American Indians and Alaska Natives, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Get the Story:
