The House Natural Resources Committee is holding a markup session this morning.

Four tribal bills are on the agenda. They are:
H.R.3109. The bill amends the Migratory Bird Treaty Act to exempt certain Alaskan Native arts and crafts from prohibitions against sale of items containing nonedible migratory bird parts. A hearing was held on July 23.
H.R.4867, the Economic Development Through Tribal Land Exchange Act. The bill places land into trust for the Morongo Band of Mission Indians in California. A hearing was held on July 15.
H.R. 5205, the Northern Nevada Land Conservation and Economic Development Act. The bill places land into trust for the Te-Moak Tribe of Western Shoshone in Nevada.
S.1603, the Gun Lake Trust Land Reaffirmation Act. The bill ensures that land placed in trust for the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatami Indians in Michigan can't be challenged under the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Carcieri v. Salazar. A hearing was held on July 15.

The markup takes place at 10am in Room 1324 of the Longworth House Office Building. It will be webcast.
