Lytton Band makes $10M deposit in local financial institutions

The Lytton Band of Pomo Indians approved deposits totaling $10 million in four banks in northern California.

The deposits represent the tribe's commitment to local businesses, attorney Larry Stidham said. "We want to let the local banking community know we’re here," he told The North Bay Business Journal.

The tribe has spent upwards of $70 million on land purchases in the area and owns 350 acres of vineyards. “What’s important to us is economic diversification,” told the Journal.
