Alaska Native man pleads not guilty to stealing from nonprofits

An Alaska Native man pleaded not guilty to charges that he stole from two non-profit organizations.
Robert W. Loescher, 66, was in charge of the Alaska Subsistence Defense Fund and the e Alaska Traditional Foods Security Council. Authorities say he stole $21,500 from the organizations.
The organizations are overseen by the Alaska Native Brotherhood/Alaska Native Sisterhood Grand Camp.
