Grand jury subpoenas business linked to tribal Internet lenders

A federal grand jury has issued a subpoena to a business linked to tribal Internet lenders, Reuters reports.

AMG Services Inc. subpoenaed as part of a criminal probe by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York. A source told Reuters that the probe is looking into wire fraud, money laundering and racketeering.

AMG does business with the Miami Nation of Oklahoma, the Modoc Tribe of Oklahoma and the Santee Sioux Tribe of Nebraska.
