FBI seeks murder charges for death on Meskwaki Reservation

The FBI is pursuing murdering
charges against a young member of the Meskwaki Tribe of Iowa.
Jonathan Curtis Youngbear, 20, is accusing of stabbing 17-year-old Severn Daniel Jefferson. to death on February 24. The incident allegedly occurred after a day of drinking and smoking meth.
This is the second murder case against a young tribal member. Gordon Lasley Jr., 25, has been charged for murdering his parents on the reservation.
