The
Nisqually Tribe of
Washington hosted a dedication ceremony for a $20 million public safety complex.
The facility features a detention center with space for 288 inmates. It also houses the tribal police, six residential buildings, a warehouse, a courthouse and a fire station.
The tribe will house inmates from other tribes in the area and from local governments.
