Hopi Tribe resolves long-running dispute over transmission line

The Hopi Tribe and Arizona Public Service Co. have settled a dispute over a transmission line on the reservation.
The tribe will receive more than $20 million plus annual payments until 2041 for the 36-mile line, the Associated Press reports.
The line has been running through the reservation since 1996.
