A council member for the Blackfeet Nation of Montana who pleaded guilty in tribal court will hold a press conference tomorrow. Shannon Augare, who also serves as a state senator, admitted to charges of threatening a public official, DUI and reckless driving. He was given a 37-day suspended sentence and ordered to pay a $1,150 fine. Augare has been indicted in federal court on similar charges. He allegedly drove away from a county sheriff who was responding to a report of erratic driving. Tomorrow's press conference will take place on the reservation. Get the Story:
