Raid of home on Ute Reservation in Utah leads to two arrests

Federal and local law enforcement carried out a search warrant on the Uintah and Ouray Reservation in Utah.

Two members of the Ute Tribe were arrested -- a 55-year-old man and his 54-year-old wife. They were found in a home with drugs, paraphernalia, stolen property and firearms, a local police chief said.

The tribe has disputed the ability for local law enforcement to come onto the reservation. It wasn't reported whether tribal officers took part in the raid but the FBI and the Bureau of Indian Affairs were there, according to news reports.

The couple -- identified as Ferron Wyasket and Jolene Wyasket -- are expected to face charges in tribal court and federal court.
