Police make no arrests at home of Native politician in Canada

Authorities in Quebec said no arrests were made at the home of a Native lawmaker who has been in legal trouble lately.

Police and paramedics went to the home of Sen. Patrick Brazeau two times early Tuesday morning, according to news reports. Someone was taken to the hospital but it hasn't been confirmed if it was Brazeau, who is Algonquin.

Brazeau was placed on forced leave from Canada's Senate after he was indicted on assault and sexual assault charges for an incident at his home in February. He's also being investigated in connection with his living expenses.
