Friday, July 12, 2013
An underground pipeline that spilled 25,000 gallons of gas on the Crow Reservation also ruptured twice in 1997, the Associated Press reports.
A combined 97,000 gallons spilled during those two incidents. Then-owner Conoco Pipeline paid $465,000 in fines for the spills, the AP said.
Phillips 66 now owns the pipeline and said shifting land led to the latest spill.
