Hopi Tribe sues Navajo Nation over access to gathering sites

The Hopi Tribe has sued the Navajo Nation over access to gathering sites for baby eagles.

The Hopi Tribe contends the Navajo Nation won't allow the gathering of eaglets on allotted lands. A lawsuit that was filed in federal court claims that's in violation of a 2006 agreement between the tribes.

The Navajo Nation, however, says the agreement never included allotments.
