Oklahoma tribes continue talks to settle water rights lawsuit

The Choctaw Nation and the Chickasaw Nation continue talks to settle a water rights lawsuit against the state of Oklahoma.

The lawsuit has been stayed several times since it was filed in August 2011. "The process is working," tribal attorney Michael Burrage told the Associated Press.

Citing treaties, the tribes claim ownership of water in the southeastern part of the state.
