Stephanie Woodard: Series on Crow Creek Sioux Tribe boycott

Indian Country Today is running a series from Stephanie Woodard on an economic boycott by the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe of South Dakota.

The tribe and its enterprises are refusing to do business in an and around Chamberlain. The boycott was called in response to the local school district's decision to bar an honor song at graduation ceremonies.

"Their refusal is ringing in my ears,” Chairman Brandon Sazue told ICT.
