The
Coeur d'Alene Tribe of Idaho filed a land-into-trust application for 370 acres.
The land is mostly waterfront property around Lake Coeur d'Alene, The Coeur d'Alene Press reported. The tribe owns the southern third of the lake itself.
The tribe currently doesn't have plans for the land. Kootenai County won't be opposing the application, an official said.
The application is being processed by the
Bureau of Indian Affairs.
