Two teenaged girls who were reported missing by the
Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan were found safe but they are now tied up in a police investigation.
Audrey Michelle Elliott, 13, and her friend, Monica Leann Clark, 15, went missing from a home on the reservation on Saturday night. They were found in Flint, about 88 miles away, on Monday.
The girls may have gotten to Flint in a stolen car. The tribe is investigating the theft, which occurred on the reservation.
Audrey is a tribal member.
