CSKT woman named as director of Billings area office of IHS

Anna Whiting Sorrell, a member of the
Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes
, has been named director of the Billings area office of the
Indian Health Service
.
Sorrell started her job on Monday. She most recently served as director of the
Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services
.
"Montanans recognize Anna's leadership, hard work and success in improving access to health care in Montana. I congratulate her on her new post and look forward to working with her to provide folks in Indian County with quality health care,"
