Tohono O'odham Nation buys 'valuable' real estate in Tucson

The Tohono O'odham Nation has acquired its first piece of property in Tucson, Arizona.

The tribe purchased the Plaza Antigua II for $4.2 million, The Arizona Daily Star reported.

"It's a valuable piece of property," Richard Grijalva, the tribe's economic development director, told the paper. "We know it will appreciate in value."

The property is fully occupied by University Medical Imaging, the only tenant, the paper said.
