Three members of the Blackfeet Nation of Montana were indicted for organizing big-game hunts with country music stars.
Jay St. Goddard, Jay Wells and Gayle Skunkcap Jr. each face six charges, including the theft of tribal wildlife. Federal prosecutors said the hunts they organized weren't licensed by the tribe.
The hunts occurred in 2010 and 2011. Participants included country singers Josh Thompson and Justin Moore and the hunt with Thompson was filmed by a television crew for
The Sovereign Sportsman.
St. Goddard was a member of the tribal council but was removed last year.
