Tuesday, October 9, 2012
A sweatshirt belonging to Valerie Sifsof was found by family members of the Alaska Native woman who went missing three months ago.
Family members spotted Sifsof's sweatshirt in a creek near the campground where she was last seen on July 7. They called in police, who retrieved the item.
Sifsof's boyfriend, Eliot Freeburg, 23, said the pair got into a fight before she left their campsite. He didn't report her missing until July 11.
