Column: Healing and Honoring of Nations shares Native music

"The sounds of Native American drums, chants and flute music drifted throughout McKennan Park on Monday afternoon.

It was part of Healing and Honoring of Nations, an event set up to introduce the community to several Sioux Falls groups that help people who are looking for spiritual support, food, shelter and other services.

Aside from the dancers and speakers from the groups, the nationally known band Broken Walls played a concert from the park’s band shell."
