House set to vote on repeal of health reform law including IHCIA

The Republican-led House is set to vote today on a bill that would repeal the Affordable Care Act, including the Indian Health Care Improvement Act.

The vote comes after the U.S. Supreme Court upheld nearly every provision of the law. The decision left the IHCIA intact but a repeal would put tribes back to square one.

The debate on H.R. 6079, the Repeal of Obamacare Act, will last about five hours, according to the House majority leader's schedule.
