Witness list for SCIA hearing on self-determination and taxation

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee hosts a hearing tomorrow on self-determination and taxation.

The hearing will examine recent efforts by the Internal Revenue Service to audit and tax tribal general welfare programs and per capita payments from federal trust funds and settlements, according to a committee notice.

The hearing takes place at 2:15pm in Room 628 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building. The witness list follows:
