The
Muscogee Nation paid $11.5 million to buy the
Riverwalk Crossing in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The tribe submitted the winning bid for the property at a foreclosure auction today. “We felt we had an opportunity to pick up a center at an excellent location and give us the opportunity to diversify our business,” Chief George Tiger told The Tulsa World.
The property has been losing tenants. “Our first move will be to look for a good management group to help attract more tenants,” Tiger told the paper.
The property's assessed value was $17 million.
