The
Senate Indian Affairs
Committee is holding a hearing on Thursday.
Three bills are on the agenda. They are:
S.1684,
the Indian Tribal Energy Development and Self-Determination Act Amendments of
2011;
S.1898,
a bill to provide for the conveyance of certain property from the United States
to the Maniilaq Association located in Kotzebue, Alaska; and
H.R.1560,
A bill to amend the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo and Alabama and Coushatta Indian
Tribes of Texas Restoration Act to allow the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo Tribe to
determine blood quantum requirements for membership in that tribe.
The hearing takes place at 2:15pm in Room 628 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building.
