House approves bill to move Quileute Tribe to safer grounds

The House voted 381-7 on Monday to approve H.R.1162, a bill that allows the Quileute Tribe of Washington to move out of a tsunami zone.

The bill transfers 785 acres within Olympic National Park to the tribe. The land will allow the tribe to escape the threat of tsunamis and flooding.

Seven Republicans voted against the bill, according to the roll call.
