Tribal court orders business out of Los Coyotes Reservation

The Intertribal Court of Southern California has sided with the Los Coyotes Band of Cahuilla and Cupeno Indians in a lease dispute.

An agreement that was signed by the tribe's former chairwoman but not the rest of the council is invalid, Judge Anthony Brandenburg ruled. He ordered the operators of the Eagle Rock Training Center to leave the reservation within 45 days, UT San Diego reported.

Eagle Rock was used for military training exercises on a few occasions.
