The boy, identified as David Whatahomigie, died after drowning in a tub. The foster mother said she was preparing a bath for him and her child when she was interrupted for a few minutes.

The couple wasn't identified. They have been a foster couple for the tribe for more than five years, The Kingman Daily Miner reported.
