Morongo Band confirms waste oil spill did not reach reservation

The Morongo Band of Mission Indians of California says a waste oil spill did not reach the reservation.
About 100 gallons of potentially hazardous waste spilled into a storm drain on Monday.
Several local agencies -- including the tribe -- responded but none of the oil came onto the reservation.
The oil came from a private business The Banning-Beaumont Patch reported.
