The Forest County Potawatomi Tribe of Wisconsin has donated $40,000 to start the American Indian Leadership Program.
The Forest County Potawatomi Foundation donated a grant to the Cardinal Stritch University Leadership Center in Milwaukee.
The money will be used to start planning for the new program.
“It’s unique and exciting that there’s an academic institution looking at American Indian leadership," Mark Denning, an adviser to the project, told The Milwaukee Business Journal.
