Ollanta Humala narrowly wins presidential election in Peru

Ollanta Humala, a former military leader and the son of an indigenous rights activist, won election as president of Peru.
Humala is Quechua, who make up a significant percentage of the population in Peru. He is the nation's second democratically-elected indigenous president.
Humala defeated Keiko Fujimori, the daughter of former president Alberto Fujimori.
