FBI investigates fatal shooting by Warm Springs police officer

The FBI is investigating a fatal shooting by a police officer for the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Reservation in Oregon.

Vernon Leroy Middleton, 22, was shot and killed during a traffic stop on Sunday night. His passenger, who was reported to be a tribal member, was not injured.

Middleton was not a tribal member.
