The Lady Braves at Santa Fe Indian School won their second consecutive title at the New Mexico Class AAA State Basketball Tournament on Friday. The Lady Braves easily defeated Shiprock High School, from the Navajo Nation, by 43-22 for the championship. At one point, the Lady Braves were up 23 points against their rival. "The madness of it is exciting," Jenine Coriz, who is graduating this year, told The Santa Fe New Mexican of the atmosphere at the game.
