The
Pala Band of Mission Indians is close to finalizing a deal to buy the
Warner Springs Ranch for $20.5 million.
The 2,500-acre ranch includes a 250-room resort, mineral hot springs, horse stables, a glider port and an 18-hole golf course. If the deal goes through, the tribe plans to make improvements at the facility.
The ranch is in the tribe's aboriginal territory.
