Employee at Peabody mine on Navajo Nation killed in accident

An employee at a Peabody Energy mine on the Navajo Nation was killed on Friday.

Roy Black, 56, died after his service truck collided with a tractor and burned at the Kayenta Mine. The Arizona Republic said the U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration has conducted a preliminary report into the incident.

The last fatality at the mine was in 2006, the paper said.
