Tulalip Tribes gears up for March election for board of directors

Members of the Tulalip Tribes of Washington will go to the polls on March 12 to fill three seats on the board of directors.

Seventeen candidates are in the running. They include Chairman Mel Sheldon, Jr., Treasurer Chuck James, board member Glen Gobin and state Rep. John McCoy (D).

The top three vote-getters will earn a seat on the board.
