Obama's new budget reduces Indian programs at Smithsonian

Indian programs at the
National Museum of the American Indian
and the
National Museum of Natural History
will be reduced under the
budget proposal
released by
President Barack Obama
on Monday.
A cultural interpreters program at the NMAI will be turned into a volunteer program. The repatriation program at NMNH will have less funds for travel and consultants.
